I Monetize Online

Well, you all know that different sites have different audience, don’t you? ;]

I know you do That’s why different affiliate programs have different language versions of the products their promote. It’s obvious that it’s much better to learn rather complicated things like spending or increasing amount of your money in your mother tongue (ehh… I hope it’s not that bad as Dr. Freud would thought  – I just almost typed “thong” instead of “tongue” =] )

Of course this time I’m talking about making money online =] As I always do =]

- What in it for me? – you might ask.

Well, sometimes you not sure where the major traffic comes to the certain sites you want to promote. It’s also quite obvious that it’s much better to promote the certain site (or product) in the country that it might already be popular or at least know amongst Internet marketers or PC geeks.

Let’s take my beloved Forex Affiliates as the example in this case.

Their promote their own product or online money making solution called www.Easy-Forex.com, that allows people from different countries risk their own money hoping to increase it. There’re many different smart theories, methods and tools to monetize on Forex, but there’s one major rule I know – you have to keep your Forex deals orderly.

- Anyway, what do you know about www.Easy-Forex.com? – I asked muself.

- Well, it’s pretty simple online money making tool and it allows you to play with international currencies. – answered my alter ego.

- Alright, do you know where the major part site’s traffic comes from? – continued my “first” ego.

- Hmmm.. I guess from the richest English speaking countries. – was sure my alter ego.

It’s quite true that in order to monetize your traffic you would need organic traffic (Google, Yahoo or MSN) USA, Canada or United Kingdom. Of course, it’s much better to have highly targeted traffic from other sources as well (forums, social network or topic related blogs).

Everyone of us have read this axiom (fundamental truth) of affiliate marketing like billion times before:

“Do deep and dilligent research of the product you’re going to promote!”

So, in case to have successful www.Easy-Forex.com AdWords PPC campaign I need to target the audience (you can easily find it in your Campaign settings) – the country and the language. What did I do?

I went to www.Alexa.com (it has in-depth information on the traffic statistics of almost every possible site you can think of – including your competitors’ traffic statistics ;] ) and entered www.Easy-Forex.com (you can just click the link above if you’re too lazy to enter the URL yourself ).  What I found out was very interesting and thoughts provoking:

As you can yourself quite big part of www.Easy-Forex.com traffic comes from Arabic World countries  like Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar. It’s obvious that visitors in those countries also have the money and interest to double it with the help of Forex market. What do you I do with this knowledge?

I thought of starting AdWords PPC text ad campaign, but unfortunatelly I don’t speak Arabic neither I know anybody who could help me with ad text. Fortunatelly, Forex Affiliates have the needed tools to monetize your Arabic traffic. I went to their sites and found the banners in Arabic that looked quite “Arabic” to me and chosen graphic ad instead. Here’s the one I’ve chosen:

Of course I needed the right keywords to promote Forex program like Forex Affiliates. I also found those. Instead of making this post mawkishly “forexy” I’ll post forex keywords I found online in my next post. Hope you’ll be somewhere around to get the taste of my next viand.
